A great has died recently from something only few can understand. Robin Williams was a great man that inspired many and also made many laugh. No one would have known that he was suffering behind close doors. His death as shocking as it was sent a sign throughout America that mental illness is more common than you would imagine. I, being another victim of this tragedy, hope that people begin to understand the difficulties. Being in the spot light is hard and those of us in it can be targets for illness of the mind.
Actress Poorna Jagannathan came out to the open about her experience with abuse. Not only was her father an alcoholic but she was abused at the age of 9 by a family friend. She advocates for millions of women and children across the world that are being abused. She is a symbol of overcoming abuse. She also shows that it can happen to people of high social class all the way down and that it is not only a growing problem in the US but rather it is around the world.
Stealing from children that have nothing? What a low life. This man was the treasurer for The Big Texas Toy Run which gives christmas presents to unfortunate children. Those children are our future and you're ruining any joy and hope they have for a better life. I am glad men like this get locked up.
Demi Lovato should be an inspiration to many of us women out their. Personally I understand the pressure for appearance in an industry like this. All of us often feel like we are not good enough and that we need to fix things. I think the new Demi is showing girls that being yourself is beautiful. For everyone out their criticizing her for either going to rehab for her eating disorder or her looks know needs to realize the damages done to women and our confidence.
